Switching Investment Options
Before switching investment options you should read the details of each investment option involved carefully - this can be done by simply clicking on the name of the investment option. Over time, unit prices for different investment options rise and fall at different rates resulting in the proportion of your current balance in each option changing.
If we receive a valid instruction from you before 4.00pm AEST, we will process your investment switch using the declared unit prices for that day, once known. If we receive your investment switch request after 4.00pm AEST, we will process your switch effective the following business day and it will be processed using the following business day's declared unit prices. Unit prices are not calculated for weekends or New South Wales public holidays.
Important: If you request an investment switch while another transaction is being processed (such as a contribution), the switch will not be processed until after the first transaction is finished. This can take up to an additional 2 business days, and the unit price for the switch will be the process date (not the date you requested the switch).
Fees and Charges
There are no fees charged for switching your investment options. However, a buy/sell spread (the difference between entry and exit unit prices) applies on changing between some investment options. You can obtain a unit price quote (reflecting any buy/sell spreads) from the unit price section of the investments page, or you can call us on 1800 021 227.
Confirmation of your request
Your transaction will only be processed if you have received a Receipt Number. If you tried to do an investment switch but you haven't received a Receipt Number (and wish to make an investment switch), please call us on 1800 021 227.
Your investment switch will become effective once it has been processed by us and we will send you a confirmation letter/email . Your investment switch will only be applied to the account you are currently logged into. If you have multiple accounts with us, you will need to submit a separate request for each account. You can access your other accounts (if applicable) from the navigation panel.
Your change will not be visible on this site until it is processed by us.
