Additional information on withdrawals and one-off payments

You can apply for one partial withdrawal (over and above your pension payments) per day or apply to take a full withdrawal. A minimum of $1000 and a maximum of $10,000 applies through your online account. This may take up to 10 business days to reach your bank account. Alternatively, you can complete and return a pension withdrawal form.

Withdrawals of $10,000 or more will need proof of identity and a bank statement with a completed pension withdrawal form. We reserve the right to request further proof of identity as required.

By providing this information you understand and consent to your information being collected, disclosed and used in the manner set out in our Privacy Policy.

Payment of withdrawals

Lump sum payments will be made by EFT to your nominated bank, building society or credit union account, after any tax is deducted.

Each pension payment you receive and any lump sum withdrawals you make, if eligible, will reduce your pension account balance. Your pension may not provide you with a pension income for the rest of your life.

Fees and costs on withdrawals and transactions

Fees and other costs including an administration fee and sell spread may be applied to some account withdrawals and transactions. For more information see fees and other costs.

Information about your relevant number

Your ‘Relevant Number’ is a Centrelink term used to determine the expected term of your pension account balance.

How your withdrawal request will be confirmed

You will receive a receipt number to confirm the withdrawal has been processed.

If you’ve tried to edit your withdrawal details or apply for a one-off payment but did not receive a receipt number, please contact us.
