Changing Your Investments
Choosing how your super is invested and an appropriate investment strategy for your needs may make a difference to your retirement.
Press 'Edit' on the Investments page to update either your Current Investments or your Future Contributions.
Under either of these options (in edit mode), you will be able to view the full investment menu. By clicking on the investment option name you will find out more about that option.
Each investment option is assigned a Standard Risk Measure (SRM), which is the estimated number of annual returns in any 20 year period.
The (SRM) is a tool to help you compare investment risk across investment options. It is based on industry guidance and is not a complete assessment of investment risk. It does not take into account:
- what the size of a negative return could be
- if the size of a positive return will be enough to meet your objectives, or
- the impact of administration fees and tax on the likelihood of a negative return.
You should check you are comfortable with the risks and potential losses associated with your chosen investment option(s).
The standard risk measure consists of seven risk labels:

Making Changes
Changes to your current account balance and your investment strategy for your future contributions and transfers need to be completed separately.
Update your current investments only
You can change your current investment strategy for your current account balance. Your current strategy for your future contributions and transfers won’t change.
You can switch your current account balance by either dollar amount or by a percentage. To assist in making this decision please read the following:
- Percentage: You can (with the exception of Direct Investments) apportion your current account balance into investment options by percentage.
- Dollar Amount: You can switch the dollar amounts into and out of investment options that make up your current account balance. Dollar-based switching must follow rules covering market movement and fund rules. For more information please contact us.
Update your future contributions only
You can change your future contribution investment strategy. Your current account balance won’t change.
Update both your current investments and your future contributions
To change both your current account balance and your investment strategy for your future contributions and transfers you will need to complete two separate transactions.
Note: when viewing percentages in any investment choice, please note that this site can only display whole numbers. As a result, if your account is invested across multiple investment options, the percentages may not total 100%.
Assets shown do not include any withdrawal fees that may be payable if you leave us. This means that there may be a difference between the assets shown on the Investments page and the totals on the Account Balance page.
