EISS Super provides Default Death and Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) Cover which includes three (3) units of Cover if your Age Next Birthday is between 16 and 45 years and two (2) units of Cover if your Age Next Birthday is between 46 and 65years.
To receive this Default Cover automatically, you need to be over the age of 25 and have an account balance over $6,000. If you want cover to start sooner, you can let us know by opting in and ensuring you have enough money in your account to pay your premiums. We also provide the ability for eligible members who are in a white-collar occupational classification to apply for a 20% discount on the Standard Rate premium. To be considered as white-collar, your occupation needs to be one that involves no manual work, e.g. you only perform clerical or administrative activities in an office-based environment. To apply for this classification you’ll need to complete the ‘Application to change Default occupational classification’ form available at eisuper.com.au/insurance.
For a limited time after your Default Cover commences, you have the ability to apply for one (1) additional unit of Default Cover without the need to provide any health information. This option is only available if you apply within 120 days from the date your Default Cover commenced.
